Bailando, meaning "dancing" in Spanish, is the first painting that eventually inspired the "Movements" series later on in my art journey. It was a personal observation - having taken private salsa dance lessons - of the powerful transformative energy of dancing. The background color bursts using Brusho color powder were meant to visualize the pure energy vibes as one listens and dance to the intoxicating rhythms of salsa.
