The Pendet dance is a traditional dance from the island of Bali in the archipelago nation of Indonesia. It is usually performed by a group of young women carrying a silver bowl of flower petals. It is considered one of the oldest traditional dance performances in which floral offerings are made as to symbolize gratitude and purification, and dancers welcome the guests.
