This painting represents the state in which we come into a better understanding of our emotions, and the circumstances around our conflict. We then are able to see through the negativity or despair and is beginning to see a solution or perhaps a better way of navigating  life. This is represented as the underwater view looking up at the bright sun rays breaking through the deep ocean.
