Sometimes when I feel quite emotional for whatever reason I need to put it down on paper and paint. This was a heavy painting - big waves clashing into one another with lots of loose, quick strokes and not much detail. It is supposed to show big movements, big energy. This painting inspired me to create bigger pieces of water-inspired paintings in a 3-part collection called Rebirth in 3 Stages.
